Clinical Chartbook
Looking to go paperless? The Clinical Chartbook is a revolutionary edgeDMS tool for storing and viewing Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
The Clinical Chartbook provides quick and easy access to high-
resolution images, including X‑rays, digital photos, and DICOM image sets.
When edgeDMS is installed on an Axiotron ModBook or a Mac with a Wacom-compatible tablet, you can annotate any image in the Clinical Chartbook and the software will interpret the notes and store the translated text with the images.
You can also use the Clinical Chartbook to identify problem areas to patients by drawing on the images, and they can sign off on medical procedures right there--on the Clinical Chartbook.
The infinite value of this feature is that the translated text is searchable. You can quickly locate clinical information stored anywhere within the Clinical Chartbook. The data can also be exported so this valuable information can be shared with other doctors to aid with prognosis and treatment of their patients.
DentalMac Users
edgeDMS was designed to take advantage of the good things about DentalMac, but to do them in a more efficient, modern, Mac OS X way.

Patients can confirm their appointments by simply responding to a voice prompt or can optionally record a short message in their voice that will be delivered directly to a specified email account. Confirmed appointments automatically update to the schedule view in real time to take the weight of vital patient confirmations off your staff.
